Gorean Branding
One of the more controversial topics regarding the handling of slaves in the Gor novels is the custom of branding. The image above shows what a perfect brand looks like; note that the skin is raised, not indented, there are no burn-bubbles or elevated veins, it’s perfectly contiguous with the surrounding flesh.
