My Courage: A Free Woman’s Oath Over the Years, My Oath To Myself

To myself,

I am strong enough to not be afraid, I am an example to other women who have been harmed, and hurt over the years. I will stand strong, and with courage. It’s OK that I often stand alone because others are afraid to fit in, or be not be part of groups that make no sense. I will hold my head up when the folks lower themselves to call me names, like whore and slut, and stupid. I will steady my legs when men whom I have never met threaten me, pursue me online, maliciously and intently try to gas light my name, and or my families name. I will rise when they find pictures of me and my family and threaten to use them to harm my career, or my family. I will stand strong when they lie, and throw rocks at me. I will ignore the prank calls, the many virus filled emails, the attacks on my business site, and the sad names angry folks have called me over the years.

I will not break, I will live, and share with women that Gorean Philosophy is not based on beating women down to the ground, breaking their bones, or harming them. Gor is not involved in Sadism. Gorean Philosophy has shown their are  love stories l over and over… that women adore finding strength in men with high standards, moral premise, and heroes within the ethos. I will share my own love stories, and facts about the men that protect me, and loved me over the years. I will not break when weak men attack my name, my honor, or even my children. I will not waiver when strangers attempt to harm my mother who has dementia. I will hold my head up and continue to write, and speak about the freedom of women in the ethos. I will stand as a friend and ally to those who are afraid to speak for themselves. I will show compassion and care for women who have struggled with poor choices, and have been abused, and broken. I will be a voice for them, and myself willingly, knowing the consequences of lash back from men who hate to be exposed. I will be strong even if I am hurt, or in pain from the endless arguments, and petty behavior demonstrated over and over by folks.

Morality is alive and well in Normans words, and I will ensure women who come in contact with me know they are valuable, and worthy. That we as women have the right to happiness. That women are extraordinary, and Gorean men love their presence.

I will be courageous, even if it means, I do it alone.
