The Last of My Kind; Rise

Over the years, the knowledge of who and what I am has not failed to remind me that I am the last of my kind. There are very few women like me left. There have been legions of women in various groups, online venues, and of course reality that have attempted to be and encompass the enigma of the “free woman” associated with the ethos of Gor.  Very few  women have been able to be successful in their journey to maintain freedom and its responsibilities.

You see, being a free woman means that you have managed yourself, and are capable of taking care of yourself 100%. You can’t give away a broken person to a committed relationship, a half person. As a free woman you must be whole. You are physically able to manage your body, your career, and be a participating citizen in your community. You carry yourself as a woman of modesty, reserved in sexuality, you are responsible and put the needs of a household ahead of your own. You are a protector, a mother. You do not participate in open sexuality, you don’t have pictures of your body exposed, or your “ex-slave pics of your intimate parts on display”, you are after all an example to many. Your career is not in the adult industry. You live by the natural biological order that Gorean ethos has outlined. You don’t play an online only free woman who has a husband offline, you do not see two men at once, you are a monogamous woman of very high moral value. You do not jump between roles to suit your mood, or different boyfriends that come through your life. You have only one role, one road, a free woman, always.

It has taken me a lifetime of experiences of being deeply and completely loved to know, and fully comprehend what it feels like to accept that I am irreplaceable. As a free woman I am extraordinary. My life adventures were certainly not always perfect, or well ending. I shared too much private information about myself which in effect has allowed people of ill repute in my life. They managed to manipulate me through the cracks I allowed. Using those cracks like a  hammer to hurt me, and cause me pain simply because they were broken people in pain lashing out.  I would love to claim naivety, but I can’t. As a free woman I am responsible for every action, and every choice I make. I am completely and fully culpable for each and every situation. Through those stumbling moments, and slack I afforded people I have learned a fortunate, and cherished lesson. Stand strong on your morality and what you know to be right or wrong. In your weakest moments, do not buckle and fall.

Rise.

Many women choose to surrender their freedoms, and live a submissive life. That consensual choice has the consequence of always being in absolute obedience to the free. It relieves women of responsibility, and presents them to Gorean men and women in a consensual, adult relationship.  Make no mistake a woman of this type is rarely ever able to become free again. There is a very distinct mind-set between the free and surrendered. Once a woman surrenders to a man it is extremely difficult for her to re-assume a position of modesty, and respect. Remember also, there are women within Gorean ethos that simply enjoy the company of Goreans. They are neither free, nor surrendered women. They are unable to manage either role due to many reasons, yet are completely welcome to visit, and discuss among us as visitors. Rather than judge them, simply send your best hello their way. It is a difficult request to ask Goreans to not judge, but again they are simply visitors.

A Gorean free woman must apply a very special attribute to her library of tools,  even if the action goes against her own pain and anger. This gift, this ability is not for the enslaved. A Gorean free woman must strive against all odds, dispute, and arguments. She must always push herself to rise above the petty, the less than, the ordinary. After all, a Gorean free woman is extraordinary.

A free woman is inordinately precious. She is a thousand times, and more, above a mere slave.”
